Mandatory Clause

Third-Party Policies

  • InstantFunds may engage various third-party service providers in connection with the App or for providing the Services. Any information shared directly with such third parties or provided upon redirection to their platforms will be governed by their respective privacy policies, and not by this Privacy Policy.
  • Third-party service providers engaged by InstantFunds collect, use, and disclose information only to the extent necessary to perform services on our behalf. We share information securely and use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure such parties adhere to confidentiality and data protection obligations.
  • Certain third-party service providers, including banks, NBFCs, co-lending partners, payment aggregators, and credit information companies, may have independent privacy policies. Users are advised to review these policies to understand how their information will be handled.

  • Once you leave the App or are redirected to a third-party website or application, this Privacy Policy and the App’s Terms & Conditions will no longer apply. InstantFunds shall not be liable for any acts or omissions of third-party service providers.
  • The list of third parties collecting information through the App is available at the designated link and may be updated from time to time for user reference.

Retention of Data, Withdrawal of Consent & App Account Deletion

  • You may access and review the information shared by you, subject to fulfilment of pending contractual obligations, by contacting us. You may withdraw or revoke your consent for processing of your information by writing to info@instantfunds.in. You may also request deletion of your mobile app account directly through the App. You have the right to deny consent for use of specific data on the App. Upon account deletion, you will no longer be able to avail services through the mobile application.
  • Deletion of your mobile app account shall not affect any other contractual obligations agreed between you and InstantFunds. You shall continue to perform all obligations already undertaken. If a loan application is under process at the time of account deletion, such application shall be discarded.
  • We do not retain your information beyond the period for which it is required. Data will be deleted when it is no longer necessary and when there is no legal or regulatory requirement to retain it. However, certain information may be retained for legitimate purposes such as security, fraud prevention, audit, regulatory compliance, or as required under applicable laws.
  • If any information provided by you is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, you must promptly provide accurate and updated information so that we may rectify the same. Ensuring accurate information helps prevent service interruptions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

InstantFunds may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and shall take effect immediately upon publication. Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how their data is protected.

App Permissions and Data Collection

Our mobile application requires certain permissions to function effectively and provide financial services. The data collected through these permissions and its usage are described below.

SMS Permissions

With your consent, the App may read SMS headers to identify the sender type. We only access indicative SMS content related to 6-digit alphanumeric verification messages. Information such as sender names, limited SMS content, and timestamps may be collected periodically to provide financial and allied services.

This data may be securely transmitted to our Partner NBFC, B P Securities (India) Private Limited, and authorized service providers strictly for permitted purposes.

We do not read or analyze personal messages or OTPs, except OTPs sent by us for authentication during the lifetime of the App installation. The collected data may be used for income analysis, spending pattern assessment, credit evaluation, faster approvals, enhanced credit limits, and fraud detection and prevention.

Application Permissions

With your explicit consent, the App may collect metadata related to installed and system applications on your device. This data is securely processed through our technology partner Credeau (www.credeau.com), which provides device intelligence services to our Partner NBFC.

The collected data is used strictly for:

  • Detecting potential fraud (e.g., VPN usage, gambling or high-risk applications)
  • Supporting identity verification and credit risk assessment
  • Enabling faster loan approvals and appropriate credit limits

Important Safeguards:

  • Only application metadata (app name, package name, version, install/update time, installer source) is collected.
  • No personal app usage data, messages, files, or content are accessed.
  • Data is not shared or sold for advertising or marketing purposes.
  • Data is stored and processed only in India, in compliance with RBI Digital Lending Directions, 2025 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Location Permissions

With your explicit consent, the InstantFunds mobile application may request one-time access to your device location. This access is used strictly for the following purposes:

  • Determining serviceability of your loan application
  • Reducing risk associated with loan processing
  • Providing pre-approved or customized loan offers
  • Supporting address verification, enhanced credit risk assessment, and Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance

InstantFunds does not continuously track your location. Location access is temporary, purpose-limited, and used only at the time of evaluation or verification.

Device Permissions

With your consent, the App may collect limited device-related information solely to enhance platform security and prevent fraudulent activities. This information may include:

  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • Available RAM and storage capacity

We do not collect permanently identifiable device identifiers such as IMEI numbers, serial numbers, or MAC addresses. All data collection practices strictly comply with:

  • Google Play Developer Policies
  • RBI Digital Lending Directions, 2025
  • Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

Phone State Permissions

The App may request Phone State permission only with your explicit consent. This permission is used strictly for the following purposes:

  • Verifying that the device has an active SIM and valid network connection during onboarding and loan disbursement
  • Ensuring transactions are initiated by the rightful customer and preventing spoofing or fraudulent activities

InstantFunds does not access call logs, contacts, or any unrelated data through this permission. All usage is aligned with the RBI Digital Lending Framework and applicable Indian privacy laws.

Camera Permissions

What is collected:

Camera access is required solely for completing electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) procedures. This enables you to scan or capture identification documents digitally, ensuring a faster onboarding process and minimizing manual errors.

How it is used:

The captured images or documents are used strictly for eKYC verification, validating your identity, and determining loan eligibility in accordance with applicable regulatory standards.

Important: We do not collect, process, or store any biometric data.

Data Storage & Hosting

The Instant Funds App is hosted entirely in India. All data and information collected from you are stored on servers located within India, in full compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including RBI guidelines and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.

Just-in-Time Consent

We display just-in-time consent screens before requesting sensitive permissions such as SMS, location, phone state, camera, and app list access. This ensures transparency and informed consent, in line with Google Play Developer Policies and applicable Indian regulations.

Your Rights

You have the right to:
